Scheduled for <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/5-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">release on March 31<\/a>, version 5.4 will be the first major release of 2020 with a strong focus on refining the block editor for even better through several new features and improvements.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Let&#8217;s check out in detail what&#8217;s WordPress 5.4 will be offering to users!<\/p>\n<h2 align=\"center\">The Block Editor Improvements<\/h2>\n<h3>#Improved Performance:<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\">In WordPress 5.4, the block editor will not only load 14% faster but also will take 51% less time-to-type for a particularly sizable post (~ 36,000 words, ~1,000 blocks).<\/p>\n<h3>#The New Welcome Guide Modal:<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\">WordPress 5.4 introduces new users to the block editor with a <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/WordPress\/gutenberg\/pull\/18041\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">welcome guide popup<\/a>.
